TRAJECTORY

marshmallows at summer camp

The Purpose

Our goal is for our campers to experience life and learn independence while exploring nature, as well as while they enjoy all of the fun-filled times to be had at camp. We recognize the positive impact that learning in a safe and creative environment can have on students, especially while going through some of the more formative years of their lives. That is why we have designed this experience in which your student will make new friends and experience exciting outdoor adventures, all while learning Christian values and good character. The desired outcome is to help establish a solid spiritual foundation from which they can build as they look to move through life in the direction God is leading.

The Program

Everything we do centers around two core principles: Love God & Love Others. From these, all camper activities are designed to teach “FAIR” values through nature-based learning and exploring God’s word.  Whether it is camp fire building or hiking the canyon, campers will learn how to love God and Love others by being “FAIR”.

How It Works

FIRST STEP:

How Do I Register My Student?

When is registration check-in?

Registration and check-in will begin at 3pm and go until 4:30pm on the first day of the session that you have registered your child for.

What does it cost for my child to attend camp?

The cost is $465 per student for one session of camp.

What do you do in the event of severe weather?

Our staff are trained to follow specific protocols in the event of severe weather or any other type of natural disaster to ensure the safety of all of our campers.

What about emergency services?

We have medical personal on site during the entire summer that are First Aid & CPR certified in the event of an emergency.

Can my child call me?

We discourage phone calls as a means of reducing homesickness, and because camp is supposed to be a growing experience. Rest assured though, if your child is suffering with homesickness we will have them call. Please do not send your child with a cell phone. Camp is a time away fro the noise of the modern world. We want the focus to be on Christ and the experiences that accompany the outdoors.

What if my child is a picky eater?

We pride ourselves in our ability to have a lineup of meals that kids love to eat. We encourage kids to try everything, but we will not let a child go hungry. We also take into consideration and make allowances for food allergies and special diets, simply specify your child’s needs in the registration form.

How does my child know when to be where?

One of your child’s counselors will be with them 24/7 and will take them rom place to place. Our counselor to kid ratio is 1 to 5 so your kiddo will be well looked after.

Where do the counselors come from?

A majority of our staff come from colleges around the country and the rest are high school students from the area. Each of our staff must meet a rigorous reference check and a Department of Public Safety background check. Needless to say we take the safety and experience your child has very seriously and take extra measures to ensure a great camp experience.
