PBA News:
Town Hall Meeting Being Scheduled
(Updated: 012/14/07) We are scheduling a series of Town Hall meetings. The first meeting will be on the PBA campus with others to follow at churches in each Association. The Purpose of the Town Hall meetings is to present an update on where we are with the new property and share a vision for potential development options. A big part of the meetings will focus on answering your questions and gaining your input on new ministry and campus development ideas. We are earnestly seeking God's leadership through your input and participation as we discover what God has planned for PBA's future. Please plan to join us. Town Hall meeting dates will be posted here as they are set.
Campus Master Plan Being Developed
(Updated: 12/14/07) The Town Hall meetings will lead to establishing a Ministry Master Plan from which a Campus Master Plan will be developed. It is critically important that we discover together what God's plan for future ministry is for PBA before we begin any new development on the campus.
Ministry Taskforce Being Formed
(Updated: 12/14/07) A big part of our Ministry Master Planning process involves a Ministry Taskforce with Teams focused on all the ministries we discover God desires PBA to engage. For the most part, PBA has been fairly passive in ministry programming in the past. We believe this MUST change! The Ministry Taskforce teams will be lead by people who have a passion for ministry in specific ministry areas (e.g. Men's ministry, family enrichment, dicipleship development, etc.). Please consider joining us as a member of the Taskforce and as a partner in ministry as we plan and prepare for future ministry.
Volunteers Needed!
(Updated: 12/14/07) We have a host of projects on the campus and in our office and invite you to partner with us in ministry here at PBA. Spring work projects on various buildings are being scheduled now. In addition, we are in need of people to assist us with various office task all the time. Please call (806) 983-3954 to let us know what you would be interested in doing and when you are available to volunteer. PBA would NOT be able to exist without the assistance of people like you who give of their time for projects on the campus.
Summer Missionary Team Positions Available
(Updated: 12/14/07) We are looking for 30 Summer Missionary Team Members to assist us this summer. If you are interested or know of someone who might be, please call our office today for more information. We would not be able to provide the support needed for our summer sessions without our SMTs. This past summer there were 475 decisions made including 277 professions of faith and 67 for special service. Our 2007 Summer Missionary Team played a critical role in each one of those decisions. more->
